Following the inspection carried out by trail technicians, this trail has been declared of "limited adequacy" as a result of the faults detected in the signage. These include inadequate horizontal signs (paint markers) and/or vertical ones (trailheads and information boards) or lacking direction markers that do not provide sufficient information to properly follow the route. The builder of this trail has been informed of the situation.
For safety reasons and during maintenance work, it is advised to be extremely careful while taking this route. Furthermore, mountain sports entail risks associated with the activity itself and the environment where they take place, for which any person is fully liable. For this reason, hikes need to be planned properly and adequate training, equipment and sensible use of the trails are required.

This stage follows the Cañada Real de Castilla between La Torre, a hamlet of Alpuente, and Aras de los Olmos, passing through Losilla, a hamlet of Aras de los Olmos. The route runs through an area with large and remarkable junipers, offering fine views of the Javalambre mountain range

La Torre – Loma de las Donzas (hillock). Detour to GR 10 – Carretera CV-350 (road) - Mirador de Losilla (Viewpoint) – Barranco de Escaiz (ravine) – Aras de los Olmos

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Salimos de la Torre junto al PR-CV 331 en dirección norte. En apenas cinco minutos abandonamos el PR. Al llegar a un barranco, giramos a la derecha por una senda de herradura en fuerte pendiente y atravesamos la pista forestal de Torrijas. La senda continúa en ascenso a través de un pinar.

La pendiente se suaviza a medida que disminuye la vegetación arbórea, tomando dirección noroeste. Pasamos el desvío hacia el GR 10 y seguimos ahora por una pista forestal en dirección oeste, que discurre por la zona limítrofe entre Teruel y Valencia. Recorremos el cordal de la Loma de las Donzas, desde donde se divisa, a la derecha, la sierra de Javalambre.

Cruzamos la CV-350, en el límite de Valencia y Teruel, y tomamos una senda que desciende hasta un puente en la CV-355. Giramos a la derecha y continuamos por el lecho del barranco para remontar por la ladera izquierda hasta el mirador de Losilla. Bordeamos la aldea y cruzamos la carretera CV-363.

Seguimos por la cañada real de Castilla hasta cruzar el barranco de Escaiz para enlazar con una pista forestal entre almendros y viñedos. Al llegar a la altura de la CV-355, la cañada discurre paralela a la carretera por una amplia pista forestal durante unos dos kilómetros, entre campos de cultivo. Con Aras de los Olmos ya a la vista, cruzamos la carretera para entrar en la población por el antiguo camino de Losilla y Arcos de las Salinas. Atravesamos el casco urbano pasando por la plaza hasta llegar a la CV-35, donde finaliza la etapa.
