STAGE 1 PRE-APPROVAL

Budget Request

The trail planner must fill in and submit the budget request form for the approval process to the FEMECV, along with the project justification and all the required documentation. This step is necessary for the approval of new trails as well as for the extension or modification of an existing one.

Validation of Requirements and Budget Submission

The FEMECV Trails Committee will validate the submitted documentation according to the requirements established in the FEMECV's Trail Approval Regulations in the region of Comunitat Valenciana.

If the validation is positive, FEMECV's administration will send the corresponding budget for the approval of the trail. The trail planner must accept and sign the budget and pay the given amount to proceed with creating the trail's file.

If the requirements are not met, the Trails Committee will send a report to the planner stating the points that need correction.

Pre-approval visit

The assigned FEMECV Trail Technician will contact the trail planner within a maximum of one week to arrange the first visit and verify the route before waymarking. This must be done on foot, accompanied by the person designated by the planner.

Trail Signage Works and Completion of Work

Once the pre-approval report is checked, a pre-approval certificate and provisional trail registration will be issued so that the planner can carry out the trail signage works.

Upon completion of the conditioning of the trail and signage works, the planner must inform FEMECV in writing.

STAGE 2 TRAIL APPROVAL

Approval visit

The assigned Trail Technician must conduct the trail approval visit:

  • If the report is positive, the approval will be ratified by the Board of Directors of the FEMECV and registered in the "Sports Trail Record" (Registro Deportivo de Senderos).
  • If the report is negative, the Trails Committee will send a copy of it so that the deficiencies can be corrected.

The Process of Registering an Approved Trail

Once the trail is approved, the FEMECV will assist the trail planners in the process of registering the trail in the Public Trail Record of Comunitat Valenciana" (Registro Público de Senderos de la Comunitat Valenciana).
