Variante de dificultad alta que asciende por el barranco de la Cueva Negra hasta alcanzar la parte alta del Monte de Alcola. Desde allí la ruta planea por pistas forestales y vuelve a descender por el cortafuegos hasta alcanzar de nuevo el sendero principal.
