Following the inspection carried out by trail technicians, this trail has been declared of "limited adequacy" as a result of the faults detected in the signage. These include inadequate horizontal signs (paint markers) and/or vertical ones (trailheads and information boards) or lacking direction markers that do not provide sufficient information to properly follow the route. The builder of this trail has been informed of the situation.
For safety reasons and during maintenance work, it is advised to be extremely careful while taking this route. Furthermore, mountain sports entail risks associated with the activity itself and the environment where they take place, for which any person is fully liable. For this reason, hikes need to be planned properly and adequate training, equipment and sensible use of the trails are required.

Circular route starting and ending in Catí that combines history, heritage, and nature. It visits the Avellà spa and climbs to the Tossal de la Nevera, the highest point of the range, crossing spectacular landscapes. The return descends past old ice houses, ravines, and springs, ending among agricultural and livestock areas.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Salimos de los lavaderos públicos de Catí y atravesamos el pueblo siguiendo la CV-1281 hasta encontrar el acceso al balneario del Avellà por la CV-1270. Seguimos la carretera durante algo más de 1 km para dejarla a nuestra izquierda y ascender atajando la carretera varias veces hasta alcanzar el balneario. Dejamos el entorno del Avellà hacia el sur, primero en descenso para luego ascender hasta el collado dels Campanarets/Fenassar. Ascendemos rápidamente los primeros metros para luego suavizar el ascenso recorriendo la zona alta de la sierra de la Nevera hasta llegar al tossal de la Nevera.

A partir de aquí descendemos en sentido contrario, pero a un nivel inferior de la sierra, pasando primero por la nevera Vella y luego por la nevera Nova. Descendemos de las zonas altas de la sierra dejando a nuestra derecha el mas de la Serra hasta el collado de la Selleta. Seguimos el descenso recorriendo el barranco de la Tova o de la Massà pasando por la fuente de mismo nombre hasta alcanzar zonas más antropizadas. Avanzamos por pista asfaltada dejando a ambos lados explotaciones agropecuarias hasta alcanzar la población en el punto de inicio.
