El sendero empieza llaneando hacia el oeste y gira hacia el noroeste para iniciar un rápido descenso entre cortas revueltas. Tras salvar un par de cortados y unos canchales alcanza el cauce de la rambla en la zona conocida como vuelta de la rambla.
