Seguimos el camino viejo de Fontilles, antiguo camino empedrado, que nos conducirá hasta el río Gorgos que cruzamos para tomar el camino a la izquierda. Cerca de la carretera CV-750 giramos a la izquierda para, enseguida, tomar el camino a la derecha por el barranco de la Algoleja. Más adelante, cruzamos la CV-750.

Empezamos el ascenso al macizo del Seguili, donde encontraremos dos grandes atractivos: por un lado, el yacimiento arqueológico del Seguili con sus pinturas rupestres y por otro, la ascensión al vértice geodésico del Seguili.

Volvemos sobre nuestros pasos para descender hasta la CV-750 por el sendero de subida, cruzando la misma a la altura del barranco de la Algoleja que seguiremos hasta su unión con el río Gorgos. Lo cruzamos y seguimos por el camino Fondo que nos llevará hasta el inicio del sendero, pasando antes por la noria y balsa de la Marnera.
