Following the inspection carried out by trail technicians, this trail has been declared of "limited adequacy" as a result of the faults detected in the signage. These include inadequate horizontal signs (paint markers) and/or vertical ones (trailheads and information boards) or lacking direction markers that do not provide sufficient information to properly follow the route. The builder of this trail has been informed of the situation.
For safety reasons and during maintenance work, it is advised to be extremely careful while taking this route. Furthermore, mountain sports entail risks associated with the activity itself and the environment where they take place, for which any person is fully liable. For this reason, hikes need to be planned properly and adequate training, equipment and sensible use of the trails are required.

A route that allows you to discover beautiful corners of Ròtova. This route connects natural and historical elements, such as the springs of Les Galeries and Llibrells, with viewpoints, such as l'Estruca or the ones in the peaks of Picaio and Alt de les Aguiles, or the Gall chasm. Historical landmarks include the Borró Castle, from the Muslim period, and the 15th-century aqueduct. You can also enjoy the lush vegetation of the Galeries ravine and its flora micro-reserve.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Partimos de la población de Rotova en dirección al acueducto, por pista asfaltada. Compartimos recorrido con el GR 236. La pista nos cruzará por dos veces el río Vernissa. En el primer cruce del río tenemos la opción de tomar la variante que nos llevara directo al Castillo de Borró. Cruzamos por segunda vez el río. Tomaremos un carril de tierra a la derecha que se transformara en senda. Enseguida llegaremos al acueducto, de un único arco ojival, edificado en el siglo XV. La senda nos volverá a cruzar el río Vernissa, esta vez por bloques redondos. Seguiremos remontando el frondoso barranco de les Galeries y la microreserva de Flora de la Cova de les Rates. Continuamos el ascenso por sendero dentro del barranco hasta llegar a una antigua mina de agua y a la fuente de les Galeries. La subida se endurece, pero gracias a unos escalones nos ayudara a continuar hasta el cruce con la variante anterior que nos conduciría al Castillo de Borró. Tomaremos un desvío a la izquierda que nos conduce hasta un antiguo horno de cal. Continuamos subiendo hasta el mirador de l'Estruca con magnificas vistas al circo de la Safor, Montgo, Mondúver, Ròtova y Alfahui. El siguiente hito de nuestro recorrido sera el cruce para visitar el Picaio, otra atalaya con bonitas vistas. Retomamos el camino subiendo hacia el cruce con el Alt de les Aguiles, desde el cual tenemos accesible el pico con bonitas vistas del castillo de Borró. Ya hemos llegado al punto mas alto del recorrido. Comenzamos la bajada por senda que nos conduce al cruce con la fuente dels Llibrells. Continuamos bajando hasta llegar a una pista asfaltada que nos conducirá a Ròtova.
