Se inicia esta variante en el lugar de la Font de la Taula Redona, por senda en dirección NE, ascendiendo hacía la Font de la Horteta Vella, para dirigirnos descendiendo hacía el Barranco de la Camarera. En este lugar se toma a la izquierda siguiendo la pista hasta enlazar con el sendero GR 7 en el paraje del Pou del Barber, el cual sólo tocamos en este punto, seguimos por la pista a la derecha hasta llegar al GR 7.
