Following the inspection carried out by trail technicians, this trail has been declared of "limited adequacy" as a result of the faults detected in the signage. These include inadequate horizontal signs (paint markers) and/or vertical ones (trailheads and information boards) or lacking direction markers that do not provide sufficient information to properly follow the route. The builder of this trail has been informed of the situation.
For safety reasons and during maintenance work, it is advised to be extremely careful while taking this route. Furthermore, mountain sports entail risks associated with the activity itself and the environment where they take place, for which any person is fully liable. For this reason, hikes need to be planned properly and adequate training, equipment and sensible use of the trails are required.

Trail that takes us to the base of some of the emblematic mountains of the Natural Park of the Sierra Calderona: the Garbí, the Xocainet or the Redonda and allows us to visit one of the best preserved places how is the ravine of the Merles.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Salimos de Albalat dels Tarongers por el puente de la carretera en Segart (CV-326), cruzamos la N-234 y en la tercera rotonda, tomamos el camí dels Terrers. Poco después en un cruce seguimos por el camí del Garbí. Remontamos el barranc de Pujol por senda y enlazamos el camí de la Gronsa que seguimos a la izquierda. Iniciaremos el descenso hasta el área recreativa de la Gronsa con bancos y agua. Cruzamos la carretera de Segart y nos adentramos por el camí de la Murta que nos llevará hasta la font de la Murta. Poco más arriba cogemos un sendero a la izquierda que inicia la subida hasta el refugio abierto del Morró con buenas vistas. Continuamos por el camino de tierra y a los pocos metros nos encontraremos con un cruce y seguimos la pista por la izquierda. A la derecha podemos enlazar con el GR 10. Pasamos la vertiente norte del Xocainet para llegar a los pies de la montaña Redonda. Iniciamos el descenso por el camino a la izquierda que baja hasta el barranc de les Merles. El camino acaba en el aljibe y la balsa del Cerezo. La senda continúa por dentro del barranco hasta coger otra a la derecha que nos lleva a la partida de la Hoya donde seguiremos hacia la derecha y al poco reencontraremos el camí de la Rodana, a la izquierda hasta la vía de servicio de la autovía donde buscaremos el paso inferior para cruzarla. Continuamos a la izquierda por la vía verde de Ojos Negros. Cruzaremos el túnel y llegamos a la antigua carretera N-234 para llegar a Albalat dels Tarongers de nuevo por el puente de entrada en la localidad.
