Following the inspection carried out by trail technicians, this trail has been declared of "limited adequacy" as a result of the faults detected in the signage. These include inadequate horizontal signs (paint markers) and/or vertical ones (trailheads and information boards) or lacking direction markers that do not provide sufficient information to properly follow the route. The builder of this trail has been informed of the situation.
For safety reasons and during maintenance work, it is advised to be extremely careful while taking this route. Furthermore, mountain sports entail risks associated with the activity itself and the environment where they take place, for which any person is fully liable. For this reason, hikes need to be planned properly and adequate training, equipment and sensible use of the trails are required.

A walk along the historical paths of Sumacàrcer and areas of high ecological and environmental value protected by the castle crags.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Desde el carrer de la Florida tomamos el camí de Viro, un paseo que discurre en paralelo al río Xuquer. Pasamos por el lavadero y poco más adelante por la depuradora, siempre entre el río y la acequa de Escalona que cruzamos para llegar a la CV-560. Al otro lado, remonta un camino asfaltado entre terrazas de naranjos. A la altura de una caseta seguimos por la derecha. Dejamos atrás el depósito de incendios y el camino se va estrechando hasta que salimos de los campos por la senda Vedà. En la subida encontramos un desvío al 'Abric de la senda Vedà'. Llegamos al camino de la Ceja, vía pecuaria que recorre toda la loma de la sierra, y  ahora seguimos a la derecha unos 100 metros para iniciar la bajada por la senda de l'ombria del Castell. Bordeamos la peña del castillo hasta la CV-560 y punto de inicio de la senda que sube al castillo. Seguiremos la carretera por la izquierda hasta el inicio del sendero.
