Espadilla sits on the slopes of a mountain at the foot of the river Mijares, making use of its waters to irrigate its fertile orchards and lands. A large part of the municipality is covered by large extensions of forest where the predominant species are pines and holm oaks. Despite being located in an inland area, the average altitudes are not excessively high and the influence of the Mediterranean makes the climate very pleasant.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Salimos de Espadilla, a pocos metros enlazaremos con el PR-CV 314 y la separación de este con el PR-CV 386,  seguiremos en ascenso por camino de tierra hasta que se convierte en sendero por el que seguiremos paralelos al barranco y en ascenso hasta llegar a la Fuente de la Piqueta donde nos separamos de PR-CV 314, seguiremos por un camino hasta el cruce donde nos uniremos al PR-CV 386, seguiremos por la pista pasando junto a la Fuente del Sastre. Seguiremos por pista hasta un cruce que tomaremos a la derecha seguiremos por la pista pasando por otro cruce que dejaremos a la derecha hasta llegar al desvío de la Fuente del Melic. Saldremos por la senda ganado altura hasta llegar al collado y unos corrales donde nos separemos del PR-CV 386, seguiremos nuestro camino por la senda hasta enlazar con el SL-CV 70 que nos llevara al Pilon de Torrechiva y separación del SL-CV 70. Seguiremos por la senda hasta un cruce que tomaremos a la izquierda que nos llevara a pasar junto a una antigua masi y un pozo, desde aquí seguiremos en descenso hasta salir a un camino que cruzaremos para enlazar con la senda y llevarnos a camino hormigonado que cruzara el Rio y subiremos a buscar la población, callejearemos por esta hasta llegar al final de etapa en Torrechiva.
